At ANY time between start/finish you must do 1 tire flip 600/400
Pullup
– Movement starts
from a fully extended hanging position with no flexion in the elbow joint and
the feet are off the ground. The repetition finishes when the front of the chin
crosses over the plane of the bar that is parallel to the ground. Any method
may be used (kipping, butterfly, deadhang, etc.)
Box
Jump – see Event 1 standards
Thruster
– Movement starts
with the barbell in the rack position while you are in a full squat position at
or below parallel. The movement finishes with the barbell overhead with arms in
a fully locked out position with some portion of the ear visible in front of
the arm.
Barbell
Burpee – The
movement begins in a standing position with the hips fully extended. The chest
must hit the ground. You must return to an upright position with the hips fully
extended and execute a sideways jump from both feet with a clap behind the head
while the feet are off the ground. Some portion of the ear must be visible in
front of the arm when viewed from the side by the judge. If the jump/clap was
inadequate, and you successfully completed the chest to ground portion, you do
not need to go back to the ground but can repeat only the jump/clap.
Plate
Squat – The
center of the plate must cross through your line of vision while you are at
parallel or below in your squat. Arms must be fully extended from your body
with locked elbows. Hips must reach full extension between squats.
Plate
Crawl – Both
hands must be holding the plate with your body being between the plate and the
ground as you advance 10m lying on your back.
OH
Walking Lunge –
Your knee must touch the ground on each lunge step while the plate remains over
your head but not touching your head. You can bring the plate down to rest, but
you cannot advance while resting.
Property
Run – Expect a
course of about a 400m on the lawn and driveway. The course will be marked with
cones along the way. Judges will mark each cone, and you must stay to the outside
of the cones and enter the Dead Lift area through the Pull-up station.
Dead
Lift – The
movement starts with the bar in contact with the ground and
ends when the bar is held in your hands after it has been elevated beyond the
knees with fully extended elbows, fully extended hips and shoulders pressed
back behind the perpendicular line from the heels to the hips. Judges will
count the rep number at the top of the movement once all standards are met.
Toes
to Bar – Movement
starts from a fully extended hanging position with no flexion in the elbow
joint and the feet are off the ground. The repetition finishes when some
portion of the front part of both feet touches the bar at approximately the
same time.
Basket
– There will be a
large tire in the middle of a circle painted in the grass. The “foul line” will
be 12 feet from the tire. You will need to grab a medicine ball and toss the
ball into the middle of the tire to finish. Your feet will need to remain
outside the line until the ball leaves your hands. Foot fouls will require a
repeat effort. If the ball hits the ground inside the tire, the basket counts
and you’re done. If you miss or foot foul, it is up to you to retrieve the ball
and continue until you make the basket.
Tire
Flip – The tire
will start the event at the far end of the course. You may flip the tire at any
point between the start and finish of the event. If you are touching the tire,
you have control of it and cannot be “bumped” off it. It is totally up to you
to decide when you flip the tire. Your judge will mark the spot you need to
return to when you’ve finished flipping the tire.
