Squat
Clean – Movement
starts with the bar on the ground and ends with the bar in the rack position
with hips fully extended and elbows in front of the bar. You must squat through
to parallel during each rep. It’s acceptable to Power Clean to the rack
position and then squat. Weight on the bar will be 50% of your bodyweight
rounded down to the nearest 5# increment. For example, a 115# woman will pull
55# (115/2=57.5 rounded down to 55#).
Box Jump – Movement starts with both feet on the ground and ends with both feet completely on the box. Getting on or off the box can be accomplished by jumping with both feet or by stepping with one foot at a time. Your hips must reach full extension with feet fully on the box. If you land with one or both feet partially on the box, the judge will call out “feet” and you must adjust your feet so that they are both completely on the box before you get down.
